Dedication This edition of the Lynx is dedicated to two individuals retiring from Lincoln College this year, but whose efforts to enhance the institution shall remain present for many years to come. Dr. Martha Hargett, associate professor of art, leaves L.C. this year after teaching in the art department for 20 MarthaHargett, picturedherepriorto commencement, retired after20 yearsatLincoln College. years. Her energetic personality and love oflearning com- bined with her expertise and artistic ability made her a valued member of the faculty here. Another individual who has helped shape Lincoln Col- lege is Associate Dean Donna Eichstaedt. Under her guid- ance, Lincoln College's campus in Normal evolved from a storefront operation into a self-contained campus. During her 10-year tenure, Lincoln College in Normal made a name for itself, which also helped enhance the Lincoln campus in many ways. Both ofthese women helped shape Lincoln College into its present form. Each ofthem place a high priority on the value of education and they tried to instill that value in those students with whom they came in contact. Lincoln College is fortunate to have had two such ex- emplary professionals. We wish them well in all their future endeavors.
