About Lucy Calkins
Lucy Calkins is the author of the popular firsthand classroom materials
UnitsofStudyforPrimaryWritingandUnitsofStudyforTeachingWriting,
Grades3–5,aswellasseveralcompanionresourcesforliteracycoachesand
principals. Most recently, Lucy has published a curriculum for the reading
workshop,UnitsofStudyforTeachingReading,Grades3-5.
