All because of Shaun, who’d fallen off the legit track that he’d finally found his way onto. Now, fearing the worst for her brother, Shella has called a truce with Marius in the hopes of finding Shaun before it’s too late.
As Shella works besides Marius once again, combing through the DC slums on a desperate search for Shaun, she finds old feelings resurfacing for a man that—by all means—she should hate. The worst part? She’d be lying to herself if she said that she didn’t want it.
Shella can’t afford any distractions, not when Shaun poses a danger to the people around him and to himself. It’s a race against the clock—both to find her brother and to re-kindle the fire between herself and Marius—and unfortunately, time doesn’t seem to be on Shella’s side.
