ARE YOU READY FOR VICTORY?In John 10:10 (AMP) Jesus explains His reason for coming to the earth. “I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).” Jesus came to restore us back to righteousness (right standing with God, freedom from sin, guilt, and shame). He came to lead us back into the perfect will of the Father which is the Abundant and Victorious life over sin, sickness, and death. He even told us in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”If we want to experience all that God has provided—Jesus is our doorway, our entrance into that Victory. He is the Word who became flesh and dwelt among us (John 1:1-14). JESUS—THE WORD—is THE CENTERPIECE to the Christian life. God's Word is our LIFEBLOOD and apart from Him we can do nothing (John 15:5). Colossians 3:16 instructs us to, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom…” The Amplified Bible says, “Let the word [spoken by] Christ (the Messiah) have its home [in your hearts and minds] and dwell in you in [all its] richness…” Give Jesus—THE WORD—a home in your heart and mind. Meditate and speak the truths that He has spoken to us and renew your mind to those promises. For only then can we live out and experience true VICTORY. Then, and ONLY then, can we echo the words of Paul found in 2 Corinthians 2:14 (AMP), “But thanks be to God, Who in Christ always leads us in triumph [as trophies of Christ's victory] and through us spreads and makes evident the fragrance of the knowledge of God everywhere.”
