The OWNERSHIP OVERVIEW company Styrolution was founded October 1, 2011, as a 50:50 joint venture between the two shareholders, INEOS AG and BASF SE. In November 2014, INEOS acquired BASF’s 50% INEOS AG share in Styrolution. Since then, the company has operated as a stand-alone business within INEOS. On January 18, 2016, the company changed its name to INEOS Styrolution to refect its ownership by INEOS.
