For years too many that he wants to remember, Mr. David Miller has been a part of the Boston Latin School community. Overthe years, Mr. Millerhas served as teacher, department ^ chairman, assistant headmaste^^ headmaster and friend. To have served his school so ably in these categories is enough for us to honor him, but it is for his total devotion to the school and its students as at- testedbyhisdaily, yet voluntary service, since his retirement in | 1980, as guidance “advisor ex- traordinary” that we dedicate the 19—91 Yearbook to our Mr. Chips David Miller. i Mr. Miller’s Dedication 3 Administration Headmaster’s Message TO THE GRADUATING CLASS OF 1991 I congratulate you, theclassof 1991, forthe truly outstanding achievement and honor that you have brought to yourself and your %% Alma Mater. Your dedication and devotion to duty have been exemplary. The years that ;o/ you have spent here may often have seemed long, arduous, and frustrating. Many of you ^9 have not yet realized the value of the Latin /) School experience. The exposure to stiffcur- riculum, the hours spent in preparation of % your daily work, the strict adherence to rules 'o/ and regulations have provided you with the necessary background to further your per- sonal and academic careers. You have been given the means to succeed. A great deal now depends upon how well you apply the lessons learned at Boston Latin School. Be ever -V mindful of your responsibilities to your par- ents, your school and your community. Be especially loyal to your Alma Mater. Aid her in every way so that she may continue to provide your successors with the opportu- nities that you have received. Make it a point to provide the support needed to help future 0/ Latin School students. I congratulate you again for your interest, your cooperation and your success.
