January 16, 2019, wherein you expressed concerns regatling security during the State ofthe
Union Address cue te the Shatdowa. Fven prior o asking, 1 was contacted by the Department of
Homeland Security and the United States Secret Se-vice to explair: that taere would be
absolutely no problem rewarding security with respect tothe event, They kave since confirmed
this publicly

Accordingly, there are no security concer regarding the State of the Union Address, Therefore,
ill be honoring your invitetion, ard Iulfiling my Constiturional duty, wo deliver important
iformmation tke people and Congress of the United States of America regarding the State of
