We will consider how civil claims are prosecuted, defended and adjudicated, as well as how and why civil justice is distinct from alternative dispute resolution, criminal justice, administrative justice, public inquiries, and other procedural settings. Our examination will also consider the legal, social and political contexts of legal process.
