Matter, Electronic Reporter and Notary Public, State of Florida at Large. Whereupon, LEE ALEXANDER ANTHONY, having been first duly sworn by the reporter, testified as follows: DIRECT EXAMINATION BY MR. GEORGE: Q Good morning, sir. A Good morning. Q How are you doing? A I'm here. Q All right. If you would, please state your name for the record. A Lee Alexander Anthony. Q Date of birth, please? A November 20th, 1982. Q Mr. Anthony, my name is Frank George and I'm 4 an Assistant State Attorney. Also present is Ms. Linda Drane Burdick, also with the State Attorney's Office, and Jeff Ashton. I don't know if the other parties wish to introduce themselves for the record. MR. BAEZ: Jose Baez for Casey Anthony. MR. LUKA: Thomas Luka for Lee Anthony. MR. GEORGE: And -- MR. BAEZ: Andrea? MR. ASHTON: Well, you can just announce her presence by -- MR. BAEZ: And by via Skype is defense counsel, Andrea Lyon. BY MR. GEORGE: Q Mr. Anthony, you were served a subpoena to appear today for the purpose of a deposition; correct? A Yes. Q All right. I'm probably going to ask you some questions that you've been asked numerous times. I'm sorry about that. Sometimes it'll be done just for clarification and sometimes I'll do it to lead into other types of questions. So I hope as we go along things won't get too redundant, at least for you, that you think you've already answered this five times and why am I asking again. A All right. 5 Q All right? All right. Currently where are you living? A Home of my parents, 4937 Hope Spring Drive here in Orlando. Q How long have you been living there? A Since January. Q Of this year? A Yes. Q Prior to January of this year, where did you live? A I lived at 4148 Eagle Feather, which is also in Orlando. It's about a half a mile or so from my parents' house. I lived there for two years and I also had a residence previous to that for about a year. Q Okay. The prior address -- A Um-hum. Q -- what was that, Feather -- A Eagle Feather. Q Eagle Feather. A Yes. Q Was that a house or an apartment? A House. Q And did you live there by yourself? AI had one roommate. Q What was his name? Q 6 A Brian. 1 Q B r i a n ? 2 A Lufkin. 3 Q Is he still a friend of yours? 4 A Oh, yeah. Absolutely. 5 Q You stay in touch with him. 6 A Yes. 7 Q All right And it was just the two of you the entire time you lived at 9 that address. 10 A Yes. 11 Q Prior to that, I think you mentioned that you lived somewhere else. 12 A Yeah. I did. I had a -- I had a -- it was 13 14 like a house/apartment. There wasn't anyone else in the area. It was -- I had something through work. I 15 worked for a self-storage company and they had a 16 property on site. So it was over by the UCF area. 17 Q And did you live there by 18 yourself? A Yes. Completely. Q 19 Q And how long did you live there? 20 A About a year. 21 Q And before that, I take it you were living 22 with your parents. 23 A Exactly. Exactly. 24 Q All right. You went to high 25 school. 7 1 A Yes. 2 Q And graduated. 3 A Yes. 4 Q What high school did you go to? 5 A Colonial. 6 Q All right. Any college? 7 A No. 8 Q While you were in high school, did you work? A I had a job at Publix Supermarkets. 10 Q Just part time? 11 A Yeah. 12 Q How about after 13 graduation? What was the first job you had? 14 A I worked at the Orlando Sentinel, did 15 customer service for their home delivery for maybe 16 about a year-and-a-half or so. I worked for AIG Car 17 Insurance. I did customer service for them. And then 18 I worked at the self-storage industry for a few years as a -- 19 Q That customer 20 service -- I'm sorry to break -- 21 A Sure. 22 Q -- to break in. Is that 23 over the phone? 24 A Yes. Exactly. Exactly. 25 Q People call in with their problems and their 110 gripes and -- 2 A Right. Q -- you try to solve it? 3 A Exactly. 4 5 Q All right. And that was both with the Sentinel and AIG? 6 A Yes. 7 Q All right. How long did you -- how long did 8 you last at AIG? 9 A Not very long, six months maybe. It just 10 wasn't for me. 11 12 Q We can understand that. How about after that? 13 A I went into the self-storage industry. I was 14 a property manager for -- it was Shurgard Self-Storage 15 until they were bought out by Public Storage and that 16 was a couple years. I was 20 when I started with them, 17 so it had to be at least close to three years if it 18 wasn't three years, so it was awhile. 19 Q Okay. How old are you now? 20 A 26. 21 22 Q All right. After that job, where did you go? A From there I started with Gameday Management 23 and Click and Park. It's like the same company. It's 24 just kind of -- they're sister companies but I worked 25
