All studentswho haveenteredasfreshmenafter thesummerof2000 mustsuccessfullycompletethreeofthefourInterim termsoffered duringatypical four-yearcourseofstudy. Forstudentswhotransferto LaGrangeCollege afterthistime, reductionsaremadeinthisrequirementbasedontheacademicstanding ofthestudentatentry. Pleasenotethecoursedescriptions. Thesedescriptions indicateeligibilityfortheclass, approximatecost, gradingformatavailable, andclassroom location. All classeswill assembleforthefirstclassmeetingat2:00 PMonTuesday, January2, 2007. Meeting timesandlocationforsubsequentclasssessionswillbeannouncedatthismandatory firstclasssession. All Interimclassesrequireaminimumof30hoursperweekofstudent involvementand mostclasseswill meetapproximately3 hoursperday(Monday-Friday) forclassroomwork. DuringtheInterimTerm, LaGrangeCollegeoffersseveral opportunitiesforoff-campus studywhich requiretravel, someofwhich includetraveltootherstatesortravelbeyond theUnitedStates. Suchtravel inevitablyinvolvesrisk- accident, injury, illness, civil unrest, andotherunforeseencircumstances. Theserisksareonesthatneitherthosewho sponsortravelnorthosewhotravel cancontrol.
