Front view No. Item Function Power button • Press and hold to turn on the phone. • Press to turn the screen on/off. • When the screen is on, press and hold to power off or reboot your phone, or turn Airplane mode on/off. NOTE: Turning on Airplane mode disables all WLAN, mobile, and Bluetooth connections. LED flash Makes a flash while capturing photos and videos. Proximity and ambient • Proximity sensor: Turns off the screen automatically as you bring the light sensors phone close to your ear during a call. • Ambient light sensor: Controls screen brightness according to surrounding lighting. Earpiece Used to listen to voice calls. Desired sound is retained in the primary microphone. Headphone connector You can connect the supplied headset to listen to music, FM radio, and conduct voice calls. WARNING! LED flash Makes a flash while capturing photos and videos. Speakerphone Used to listen to music or take hands-free calls. WARNING! To avoid hearing damage, don’t put your phone close to your ear when using the speakerphone. Primary microphone Used to conduct voice calls. Micro USB port • Connects the USB cable to transfer data to and from a computer. • Connects the USB cable and charger to charge the phone. Carefully use your fingernail to pry up on the back cover notch ( ). 2. Lift up the back cover ( and ). Insert a micro-SIM card 1. With the metal contacts facing down, align the micro-SIM card with the illustrative mark next to the card slot. 2. Fully insert the micro-SIM card into the card slot until the micro-SIM card is locked in place. NOTE: Do not use a nano-SIM card or a nano-SIM card with an adapter in this phone. With the metal contacts facing down, align the microSD card with the illustrative mark next to the card slot. 2. Fully insert the microSD card into the card slot until the microSD card is locked in place. NOTE: • The phone supports microSD cards up to 64 GB in size. • The microSD card is available by separate purchase. Install the back cover 1. Align the back cover onto the top of your phone. 2. Press the sides and the bottom part of the back cover against your phone to install and lock the back cover into place. 10
