Every year we tell ourselves to be careful. Not to be over-ambitious.
Maybe rein it in a bit? Make sure we don’t bite off more than
we chew. And then we just steam ahead anyway, damn the
torpedoes, and go for it in the only way we know how.

climbing the Dawn Wall on yosemite’s El Capitan with Kevin Jorgeson,

However it’s not like Caldwell and Jorgeson just strolled up to El Cap
and started climbing; there’s been a lot of blood, sweat and sacrifices
along the way and Tommy travels to Kendal to describe the whole story
