Please see www.kanjijisho.com for the latest information and versions or to submit feedback. TheJLPTLevel2kanjicharactersandvocabularyspecificationsarebasicdisjointlists. This dictionary has unified this information into a single reference which contains 1000 characters andapproximately5000examples. Italsohasextrainformationincludingstrokeorderdiagrams andcomprehensivereadingsandmeanings. Withinthespecificationarecompoundsthatcontain out of level characters, and special consideration has been paid to these. Any compound that contains a kanji character that is not a dictionary entry will have it’s reading indicated with a furiganaannotation. Theconstruction fromtheinputlisttothefinal dictionaryisperformedby asetofprogramsthat aredesignedto allowprintedKanjidictionariestoberapidlycreated. 1.1.1 FlashEdition This is the Flash version of the dictionary it has the animated stroke order diagrams in Adobe Flash format from www.kanjireactor.com embedded into the document. This feature is notsupportedbyallPDFreaders. VerifiedreadersareAcrobatreaders9.2and9.3withJapanese languagesupportonWindowsoperatingsystems. 1.2 Page Organisation The dictionary is ordered according to the kana syllabary, the pages of the main dictionary are arrangedinatwocolumnformat. Oneachpagetheupperoutsideedgehasanindicatorshowing the first and last indexing reading on that page.
