I think it's very prejudicial. And I certainly don't want the Court to draw attention to the Pakistani related articles, but I guess [ would ask that the Court instruct the jurors not! to read the papers.! THE COURT: MS. GUTIERREZ: this trial.! THE COURT:! Not! to read a newspaper at all? Right, during the pendency of! All right.! Mr. Urick, your position about the instruction that they should not read the paper for the rest of the trial?! MR. URICK:! been done. The usual admonition is don't read anything that has tc do with this case.! THE COL~T: MR. URICK:! I am not aware of that ever having! there are now approximately 50 wars going on around the world, so every potential source of background is in the news constantly. I don't think that there's anything unusual about the situation in Pakistan that would warrant any additional instruction from this Court.! THE COURT: All right. I think that, in keeping with your request, Ms. Gutierrez, I think I'd probably have to extend it to Newsweek and Time since!
