Haulage clips are used for connecting a set of mine tubs to the haulage rope in a mine haulage system. Different types of clips are used with over-rope under-rope endless haulage system. Part 1of this standard was published in 1979. While revising Part 1ofthis standard, it was felt necessary to issue standards covering the dimensional details of components of various types of haulage clips. Accordingly this standard has been published in three parts in this revision. Other parts in the series are: Part 1 General requirements Part 2 Screw clip, cam clip, small man clip and wedge clip The composition of the Committee responsible for the formulation of this standard is given in Annex B. For the purpose of deciding whether a particular requirement of this standard is complied with, the final value, observed or calculated, expressing the result of a test or analysis, shall be rounded off .in accordance with IS 2:1960 ‘Rules for rounding off numerical values (revised)’. The number of significant places retained in the rounded off value should be the same as that of the specified value in this standard.
