The human aura. Science, through sys tematic investigation, has verified its existence. The Kirlian camera has captured the color, intensity, and motion of this mysterious lumines cence. Medical researchers at Yale University have determined that disease can be detected before it manifests in the physical body through the study of this life force that surrounds every man, woman, and child. What modern technology has only recently discovered, the masters have known and taught for centuries. Djwal Kul is one such master. While yet a young man, he left his home to study with a secret society of advanced initiates. Together with his companions Kuthumi and Morya, he received instruction in a secluded lama sery in the Tibetan Himalayas. Known through out the world as the Master D.K., the author sets forth in his writings a lucid and almost prophetic analysis of mankind’s latent spiritual faculties. In the Intermediate Studies o f the Human Aura, the Master Djwal Kul unfolds the science of the seven major energy centers, or chakras, and their relationship to the controlled expansion of the aura. Through an advanced program of meditations and mantras, you acceleration - - the abilii — X000EGEO67 These manuscripts of the master Djwal Kul are presented as an invitation to the path of the Great White Brotherhood. The ascended masters are living masters. They are the teachers of the age. As you read and examine the writings of Djwal Kul, known to his chelas as the Tibetan Master, make an effort to enter into his consciousness. Unless you are willing to take part for awhile in the ascended masters’ consciousness, you will never know whether or not their way can become your way. The brain alone is composed of over ten billion nerve cells over which travel electrical impulses at speeds up to two hundred miles an hour. But energy flows in, through, and around the body in many forms —from measurable electrical im pulses to higher forms of energy sometimes referred to as vital force, spiritual light, or prana. One of the most recent and most astonishing discoveries relative to the energy fields that in fluence man has been that of the human aura. Although discussion of the aura is not unique to this age, the invention of the Kirlian camera has enabled scientists to photograph this forcefield that surrounds every man, woman, and child. Medical researchers at Harvard and Yale have concluded that the study of the aura can be an invaluable aid in the prevention of disease before it manifests in the physical form. But science has yet to provide answers for many of the unsolved mysteries of the aura. Where does the aura originate? W hat effect or 6 To the Reader control does it exert on the health of an in dividual? Does it influence human behavior? How does the aura relate to our spiritual growth? Is there any significance to the coloration of the aura? And perhaps the most pertinent question of all, Can we control or influence the human aura? The answers to these questions are revealed in the pages of this book. In Intermediate Studies of the Human Aura, Djwal Kul provides valuable instruction concerning the aura that will establish precedent for decades to come. A sequel to Studies of the Human Aura by Kuthumi, this work was originally published as a series of letters from Djwal Kul to his students throughout the world. His discussion concerning the chakras within the body as transmitters of light energy is essential to the understanding of spiritual evo lution. He gives numerous meditations and tech niques for the clearing of the chakras and the concentration of the “sacred fire” in the chakras as the foundation for the expansion, the mastery, and the projection of the aura in what he calls the macrocosmic -microcosmic interchange. In the words of Djwal Kul, “The purpose of this intermediate series is to acquaint the student with the specifics of the application of the law and the light for the surrender of the lesser self, for the sacrifice of all forms of self-indulgence, and for the affirmation of true being here and now in the very plane of awareness where you find yourself a son or a daughter of God.” To Those Who Seek a Living Master There comes a time in the life of the one who is seeking God when the soul reaches out for guidance on the Path. Only so long can he make it alone kicking against the pricks1 of life and perhaps even against the very presence, albeit invisible, of the Lord God himself. By and by as life’s disappointments —personal sorrow and personal failure —are experienced, the soul moved by true humility born of the pain of adversity kneels before the Lord and claims the Saviour as teacher, guide, and friend along the homeward way. In East and West, the Saviour has been known in many chosen servants of the one God. In the West the Lord Christ incarnate as Jesus has been for millions not only the personal Saviour, but the living Master. Today there are many who count themselves disciples of Christ as that Christ was manifest in Jesus, in the perfect life he led and in the perfect law he taught. In the East those who would pursue the path of holiness (wholeness) have followed various masters, such as Gautama Buddha, Lord Maitreya, Confucius, Lao- tse, Bodhidharma, and Ramakrishna. Some follow teachers who are currently embodied; some follow
