The conference bringstogetherexpertsandscholarsfromdifferentfieldstodiscusstheuseandchallenges ofhuman-robotcollaborationindifferentindustriessuchasmanufacturing,healthcare, andeducation.Theconferencefocusesonfoundationsandmeansofcollaborativebehav- ior of one or more robots physically interacting with humans in operational environ- mentsconfiguredwithembeddedsensornetworksandcloudservicesunderconditions ofuncertaintyandenvironmentalvariability. ICRishighlyrecognizedandsupportedbyexpertsinthefieldinternationally,there- fore,thisyear’sconferencewasco-hostedbyTsinghuaUniversityandtheSt.Petersburg FederalResearchCenteroftheRussianAcademyofSciences,withcommitteechairsand members from all over the world. The Honorary Chairs of the conference were Hong Qiao, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, China, and Igor Kalyaev, AcademicianoftheRussianAcademyofSciences,Russia.
