ICISSPaimsatcreatingameetingpointforresearchersandpractitionerstoaddress both technical and social issues of security and privacy challenges concerning infor- mationsystems,especiallyinorganizations.Theconferencewelcomespapersofeither practicalortheoreticalnature,presentingresearchorapplicationsaddressingallaspects of security and privacy, that concern organizations and individuals, thus creating new research opportunities. ICISSP2019received100papersubmissionsfrom32countries,ofwhich18%were included in this book. The papers were selected by the event chairs and their selection was based on a number of criteria that included the classifications and comments provided by the Program Committee members, the session chairs’ assessment, and also the program chairs’ global view of all papers included in the technical program. The authors of selected papers were then invited to submit a revised and extended version of their papers having at least 30% innovative material. Thepapersselectedforinclusioninthisbookaddressvarioustopicalresearchissues withinthefieldofinformationsecurityandprivacy.Theseincludearangeoftechnical contributions, including new approaches for attack modeling and prevention, incident management and response, and user authentication and access control, as well as business and human-oriented aspects such as data protection and privacy and security awareness. The discussions also span a variety of application areas, including social networks, mobile devices, and the Internet of Things. We would like to express our thanks to all the authors for their contributions and also to the reviewers who helped to ensure the quality of this publication.
