About APIC
The mission of the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology is to
create a safer world through prevention of infection. The association’s more than 14,000
members direct infection prevention programs that save lives and improve the bottom line for

About APIC Infection Prevention Training Courses
APIC infection prevention training courses teach practical and complex issues in
everyday language. Attendees learn first-hand from board certified (CIC®) experts
through a “less lecture, more hands on” approach that will build their ability to
enhance the infection prevention program at their facilities.
And the training doesn’t end in the classroom. Courses feature post-event online
webinars that reinforce the topics so that attendees are well prepared to meet
