AGENDA 21 IS A GLOBAL ASSAULT ON INALIENABLE RIGHTS A GENDA 21 is a pervasive, communitarian movement, now in its third decade, elevating social and environmental justice as the supreme guidelines for society. Social planners have imposed countless regulations and new jurisdictions rolling back and prohibiting “unsustainable” features of modern life, including constitutionally protected private and public land use. “Sustainable Development calls for changing the very infrastructure of the nation, away from private ownership and control of property to nothing short of central planning of the entire economy – often referred to as top-down control. Truly, Sustainable Development is designed to change our way of life. Many are now finding non-elected regional governments and governing councils enforcing policy and regulations. As these policies are implemented, locally-elected officials are actually losing power and decision-making ability in their own communities. Most decisions are now being made behind the scenes in non-elected “sustainability councils” armed with truckloads of federal regulations, guidelines, and grant money. In fact, a recent study reported that elected city councils and commissioners have lost approximately 10% of their legislative power during the past 10 years, while, through the consensus process, the power of private groups called Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) has increased by as much as 300%. It is a wrenching transformation, indeed.” http://americanpolicy.org/2008/01/25/sustainable-development-the-root-of-all-our-problems-2/ The justification for AGENDA 21 rests on claims that capitalism, constitutional republicanism, middle class consumption patterns, private property use and free markets are causing an environmental, climate, wildlife, social justice and overpopulation emergency. The United Nations AGENDA 21 instruction manual is the 1995 U.N. Global Biodiversity Assessment that says the world population is over twice what the earth can sustain. “Sir David Attenborough, famous mostly for his Life documentaries, declared, "We are a plague on the Earth. It's coming home to roost over the next 50 years or so. It's not just climate change; it's sheer space, places to grow food for this enormous horde. Either we limit our population growth or the natural world will do it for us."” Russia is falling in line with rates of abortion at 57% and fertility at 1.6. http://canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/52857#When:15:30:03Z http://www.populationmatters.org/ http://www.americanthinker.com/2013/02/the_myth_of_overpopulation.ht ml The UN’s Commission on Global Governance said in its 1995 report: “Human activity… combined with unprecedented increases in human numbers… are impinging on the planet’s basic life support system. Action must be taken now to control the human activities that produce these risks” AGENDA 21 is an attack on every “unsustainable” aspect of modern life listed in the Biodiversity Assessment (see below). Ethical, God-fearing, individualistic, non-progressive mainstream Americans who do not hold a pantheistic worldview and who do not elevate nature over mankind realize this scheme is inhumane, tyrannical, collectivist and globalist. TWO INCREDIBLELY LAWLESS GOVERNEMENT INCURSIONS TO LOCAL PROPERTY MANAGEMENT King County, Washington provides a dramatic example of AGENDA 21 in its attempt to enforce a 65-10 rule prohibiting 17,000 landowners from using 65% of their property, requiring that it stay in a strictly natural state. Here’s an argument against the 65-10 rule: http://www.amerikanexpose.com/agenda21/privateprop.html Here’s an argument in favor of the 65-10 rule that helps you grasp the beguiling environmentalist theme behind AGENDA 21. http://seattletimes.com/html/opinion/2001943662_cao01.html
