He has been a Buzan Speed Reading, Memory and Mind Mapping Instructor since 1995, trained by Tony Buzan (orig- inator of Mind Mapping). Phil now trains speed reading instructors in collaboration with Tony Buzan. In addition to this, he is a Registered Accelerated Learning Trainer, a Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and a member of the Professional Speaking Association. Phil has conducted speed reading courses for various organis- ations, including the European Central Bank, lecturers at the University of Warwick and South Bank University, London, and many others. He is author/co-author of five books, including 101 Top Tips for Better Mind Maps, A Mind to do Business and The Student Survival Guide. He has acted as a consultant on Max Your Brain and Train Your Brain to be a Genius and his Mind Maps feature heavily in Tony Buzan’s The Mind Map Book, Mind Maps for Business and Use Your Head.
