which quite comprehensively cover all those issues that we all need to know for leading a successful life in this World as well as in the Hereafter. These Ahadith of Amir ul Momaneenasws are referred to in our basic Ahadith books as ‘Kutab of Arabamiyaan’ (400 books), Masomeenasws have also given references to these sayings as ‘Kitab-e-Ali’, (the Book of Aliasws). 2 Cupping ﻞﻘﻌﻟا ﺪﺸﺗ و نﺪﺒﻟا ﺢﺼﺗ ﺔﻣﺎﺠﺤﻟا Cupping3 recovers the body and strengthens the mind. مﻮﻳ ﻲﻓ و ﻢﻨﻬﺟ ﺖﻘﻠﺧ ﻪﻴﻓ و ﺮﻤﺘﺴﻣ ﺲﺤﻧ ءﺎﻌﺑرﻷا نﺈﻓ ﺔﻌﻤﺠﻟا مﻮﻳ و ءﺎﻌﺑرﻷا مﻮﻳ ﺔﻣﺎﺠﺤﻟا اﻮﻗﻮﺗ تﺎﻣ ﻻإ ﺪﺣأ ﻪﻴﻓ ﻢﺠﺘﺤﻳ ﻻ ﺔﻋﺎﺳ ﺔﻌﻤﺠﻟا Avoid cupping on Wednesdays and Fridays. One of the hours of Wednesdays is continuous ill omen. Besides, Hell was created on a Wednesday. Likewise, he whoever applies cupping in a definite hour on Fridays will surely die. Trimming and applying perfume to moustaches ﺔﻨﺴﻟا ﻦﻣ ﻮه و ﺔﻓﺎﻈﻨﻟا ﻦﻣ برﺎﺸﻟا ﺬﺧأ To trim moustaches is a part of cleanliness and is in accordance with the ‘Sunna’4 of Prophetsaww. 1 611 : ص 2 : ج لﺎﺼﺨﻟا 2 See for example, Al-Kasail by Sheikh Sadduq, 3 Removing infected blood 400 Golden Rules 4 out 54 www.hubeali.com ﺔﻨﺴﻟا ﻦﻣ ﻮه و ﻦﻴﺒﺗﺎﻜﻠﻟ ﺔﻣاﺮآ برﺎﺸﻟا ﻲﻓ ﺐﻴﻄﻟا To perfume the moustaches is honourable for the ‘Recording Angels’5 and it is also a part of the ‘Sunna’. ﺔﻣﺎﻴﻘﻟا مﻮﻳ ارﻮﻧ ﻪﻟ ﺖﻧﺎآ مﻼﺳﻹا ﻲﻓ ﺔﺒﻴﺷ بﺎﺷ ﻦﻣ و رﻮﻧ ﻪﻧﺈﻓ ﺐﻴﺸﻟا اﻮﻔﺘﻨﺗ ﻻ Do not tear out the gray hair because it is an illumination. Every single hair that grows gray in Islam will be a source of illumination on the Day of Resurrection. Cleaning Teeth ﺔﻨﺴﻟا ﻦﻣ ﻮه و ﻢﻔﻠﻟ ﺔﺒﻴﻄﻣ و بﺮﻠﻟ ةﺎﺿﺮﻣ كاﻮﺴﻟا Brushing the teeth pleases the Lordazwj; freshens the mouth and is a part of the Sunna (tradition of Holy Prophetsaww). Benefits of Applying Oil to Head & Body ن ﻮﻠﻟا ﻲﻔﺼﻳ و ﺚﻌﺸﻟﺎﺑ ﺐهﺬﻳ و رﻮﻬﻄﻟا ﻊﺿﻮﻣ ﻞﻬﺴﻳ و ﻞﻘﻌﻟا و غﺎﻣﺪﻟا ﻲﻓ ﺪﻳﺰﻳ و ةﺮﺸﺒﻟا ﻦﻴﻠﻳ ﻦهﺪﻟا Oiling softens the skin, strengthens the mind and the brain, eases the organs of ablution, removes dryness, and revitalises body complexion. سأﺮﻟا عﺎﺟوأ ﺮﺋﺎﺳ و نﺪﺒﻠﻟ ءﺎﻔﺷ و سأﺮﻠﻟ ﺔﺤﺼﻣ طﻮﻌﺴﻟا Using the sneezewort oil heals the head and cures the body as well as all types of headache. Washing of Head راﺬﻗﻷا ﻲﻘﻨﻳ و نرﺪﻟﺎﺑ ﺐهﺬﻳ ﻲﻤﻄﺨﻟﺎﺑ سأﺮﻟا ﻞﺴﻏ Washing head with the mud of rivers removes the dirt and purifies one from uncleanness. 4 Tradition of Prophetsaww and Masomeenasws . 5 Angels who record deeds 400 Golden Rules 5 out 54 www.hubeali.com Removing unwanted Hairs (every 15 days) ﺪﺴﺠﻠﻟ رﻮﻬﻃ و نﺪﺒﻠﻟ ةﺪﺸﻣ ةرﻮﻨﻟا Removing unwanted hair strengthens and purifies the body. ﺔﻨﺳ و رﻮﻬﻃ ﻮه و ةﺮﻜﻨﻤﻟا ﺔﺤﺋاﺮﻟا ﻲﻔﻨﻳ ﻂﺑﻹا ﻒﺘﻧ Removing armpit hair eliminates malodour; it is a purifier and a part of Sunna. ةرﻮﻨﻟﺎﺑ ةﺮﻣ ﺎﻣﻮﻳ ﺮﺸﻋ ﺔﺴﻤﺧ ﻞآ ﻲﻓ ﻲﻠﻄﻳ نأ ﻦﻣﺆﻤﻠﻟ ﺐﺣأ I like for the believers to remove unwanted hair once every fifteen days. Nail Clipping ﻩرﺪﻳ و قزﺮﻟا ﺐﻠﺠﻳ و ﻢﻈﻋﻷا ءاﺪﻟا ﻊﻨﻤﻳ رﺎﻔﻇﻷا ﻢﻴﻠﻘﺗ و Nail-clipping protects from harmful diseases and increases sustenance. Drinking & Eating Manners قزﺮﻟا ﻲﻓ ةدﺎﻳز ﻩﺪﻌﺑ و مﺎﻌﻄﻟا ﻞﺒﻗ ﻦﻳﺪﻴﻟا ﻞﺴﻏ Washing hands before and after eating increases sustenance. ﻩﺬﻳﻮﻌﺗ ﻲﻓ ﻻ و ﻪﺑاﺮﺷ ﻲﻓ ﻻ و ﻪﻣﺎﻌﻃ ﻲﻓ ﻻ و ﻩدﻮﺠﺳ ﻊﺿﻮﻣ ءﺮﻤﻟا ﺦﻔﻨﻳ ﻻ One should not puff in prostration of the ritual prayers, nor in the food, drink or on amulet (Taweez). أﺪﺘﺑا ﻦﻣ قﺎﻳرﺪﻟا ﻰﻠﻋ ﻩورﺎﺘﺧﻻ ﺢﻠﻤﻟا ﻲﻓ ﺎﻣ سﺎﻨﻟا ﻢﻠﻌﻳ ﻮﻠﻓ ﻪﺑ اﻮﻤﺘﺧا و ﻢﻜﻣﺎﻌﻃ لوأ ﻲﻓ ﺢﻠﻤﻟﺎﺑ اوءﺪﺑا ﷲا ﻻإ ﻪﻤﻠﻌﻳ ﻻ ءاد ﻦﻴﻌﺒﺳ ﻪﻨﻋ ﷲا ﺐهذأ ﻪﺑ ﻪﻣﺎﻌﻃ Begin and end with salt in every meal. If people realise the benefits of salt, they will prefer it to the antidote. Allahazwj will save him who begins and ends with salt in every meal from seventy maladies, which are unknown to others except Allahazwj. ىﺪﺣإ ﻊﻀﻳ ﻻ و ضرﻷا ﻰﻠﻋ ﻞآﺄﻳ و ﺪﺒﻌﻟا ﺔﺴﻠﺟ ﺲﻠﺠﻴﻠﻓ مﺎﻌﻄﻟا ﻰﻠﻋ ﻢآﺪﺣأ ﺲﻠﺟ اذإ و When you sit down to have a meal, you should sit like slaves and eat on the floor. 400 Golden Rules 6 out 54 www.hubeali.com نﺪﺒﻟا بﺮﺨﻳ ﻪآﺮﺗ نﺈﻓ ءﺎﺸﻌﻟا اﻮﻋﺪﺗ ﻼﻓ ﺔﻤﺘﻌﻟا ﺪﻌﺑ ءﺎﻴﺒﻧﻷا ءﺎﺸﻋ The Prophetsas used to have dinner even late at night. Hence, you should not skip dinner lest your bodies will become unhealthy. ﻪﺑ ﻲﻔﺸﺘﺴﻳ نأ دارأ ﻦﻤﻟ ﷲا نذﺈﺑ ءاد ﻞآ ﻦﻣ ءﺎﻔﺷ ﻪﻧﺈﻓ ناﻮﺨﻟا ﻦﻣ ﻂﻘﺴﻳ ﺎﻣ اﻮﻠآ Eat the food crumbs, which fall on dining table/food mat, as these are remedy of every malady, by Allahazwj’s permission, for those who seek cure. ﻚﻴﻓ ﷲا كرﺎﺑ ﻩﺮآذ ﻞﺟ و ﺰﻋ ﷲا لﺎﻗ ﺎﻬﺑ ﻞآأ ﻲﺘﻟا ﻪﻌﺑﺎﺻأ ﺺﻤﻓ مﺎﻌﻄﻟا ﻢآﺪﺣأ ﻞآأ اذإ Whenever one licks his fingers after finishing food, Allahazwj Says: Blessings be on you. و دﺮﺒﻳ ﻰﺘﺣ ﻩوﺮﻗأ رﺎﺣ مﺎﻌﻃ ﻪﻴﻟإ بﺮﻗ ﺪﻗ و لﺎﻗ ص ﷲا لﻮﺳر نﺈﻓ ﻦﻜﻤﻳ و دﺮﺒﻳ ﻰﺘﺣ رﺎﺤﻟا اوﺮﻗأ ﺔآﺮﺑ يذ ﺮﻴﻏ رﺎﺤﻟا و درﺎﺒﻟا ﻲﻓ ﺔآﺮﺒﻟا و رﺎﺤﻟا ﺎﻨﻤﻌﻄﻴﻟ ﷲا نﺎآ ﺎﻣ و ﻦﻜﻤﻳ Do not start eating hot food until it is cooled, as hot food was served to the Prophetsaww but Prophetsaww said: “Do not eat it until it is cooled and becomes eatable. Allahazwj will not Approve of eating hot food when Heazwj Placed the blessings and advantages in the cold food.” ﺐﺠﻳ ﻪﻗزر ﻦﻣ قزر و ﷲا ﻢﻌﻧ ﻦﻣ ﺔﻤﻌﻧ ﻪﻧﺈﻓ ﻪﻴﻓ اﻮﻈﻔﻠﺗ ﻻ و مﺎﻌﻄﻟا ﻰﻠﻋ ﺰﻋ و ﻞﺟ ﷲا ﺮآذ اوﺮﺜآأ ﻩﺪﻤﺣ و ﻩﺮﻜﺷ ﻢﻜﻴﻠﻋ Mention Allahazwj very much during eating food. Do not talk while eating, as it is one of Allahazwj’s Graces and Sustenance for which you should thank and praise Himazwj. ﷲا ﻲﻓﺎﻌﻳ نأ ﻻإ ﻪﻟ ءاود ﻻ يﺬﻟا ءاﺪﻟا ثرﻮﻳ ﻪﻧﺈﻓ ﺎﻤﺋﺎﻗ ءﺎﻤﻟا ﻢآﺪﺣأ بﺮﺸﻳ ﻻ You should not drink water in standing posture, it may result in incurable malady, unless Allahazwj Gives health. Benefits of Eating Fruits & Vegetables ةﺪﻌﻤﻠﻟ حﻮﻀﻧ حﺎﻔﺘﻟا ﻞآأ Eating apples refreshes digestive system. ﺪﻟﻮﻟا ﻦﺴﺤﻳ و نﺎﺒﺠﻟا ﻊﺠﺸﻳ و داﺆﻔﻟا ﻲآﺬﻳ و ةﺪﻌﻤﻟا ﺐﻴﻄﻳ ﻮه و ﻒﻴﻌﻀﻟا ﺐﻠﻘﻠﻟ ةﻮﻗ ﻞﺟﺮﻔﺴﻟا ﻞآأ 400 Golden Rules 7 out 54 www.hubeali.com Eating quince strengthens the weak hearts, cures the digestive system, kindles the hearts, gives courage to the cowards, and gives parents adorable children. تﻮﻤﻟا ضﺮﻣ ﻻإ ضاﺮﻣﻷا ﻊﻓﺪﺗ مﻮﻳ ﻞآ ﻲﻓ ﻖﻳﺮﻟا ﻰﻠﻋ ءاﺮﻤﺣ ﺔﺒﻴﺑز ﻦﻳﺮﺸﻋ و ىﺪﺣإ ﻞآأ Eating 21 red raisings every day on empty stomach keeps diseases away except from the illness causing death. ءاودﻷا ﻦﻣ ءﺎﻔﺷ ﻪﻴﻓ نﺈﻓ ﺮﻤﺘﻟا اﻮﻠآ و Eat dates because it is the remedy of the maladies. ص ﻲﺒﻨﻟا ﺐﺠﻌﻳ نﺎآ و غﺎﻣﺪﻟا ﻲﻓ ﺪﻳﺰﻳ ﻪﻧﺈﻓ ءﺎﺑﺪﻟا اﻮﻠآ ﺮﻳﺰﻌﺘﻟا ﻮه و بدﻷا ﻪﻴﻠﻋ Eat calabash, because it broadens the brain. Besides, the Prophetsaww liked calabash. ﻪﻧﻮﻠآﺄﻳ ص ﺪﻤﺤﻣ لﺁ نﺈﻓ ﻩﺪﻌﺑ و مﺎﻌﻄﻟا ﻞﺒﻗ جﺮﺗﻷا اﻮﻠآ Eat citron before and after meals. The Prophet’s familyasws used to eat citron. ﷲا نذﺈﺑ ﻪﻋﺎﺟوأ ﻦﻜﺴﻳ و ﺐﻠﻘﻟا ﻮﻠﺠﻳ ىﺮﺜﻤﻜﻟا Pear purifies the heart and alleviates its troubles by Allahazwj’s permission. ﺔﻨﺠﻟا ﺮﻄﻗ ﻦﻣ ةﺮﻄﻗ ﻪﻴﻠﻋ و ﻻإ حﺎﺒﺻ ﻦﻣ ﺎﻣ ﻪﻧﺈﻓ ءﺎﺑﺪﻨﻬﻟا اﻮﻠآ Eat endive. Every morning, a drop of Paradise covers each grain of endive. مﺎﺴﻟا ﻻإ ءﺎﻔﺷ ﻪﻨﻣ ﺎﻬﻴﻓ و ﻻإ ءاد ﻦﻣ ﺎﻣ ءادﻮﺴﻟا ﺔﺒﺤﻟا Black cumin has a share in the remedy of every malady, except death. ﻚِ ﻴْﻠَﻋَ ﻂْ ﻗِﺎﺴﺗُ ﺔِﻠَﺨْ ﻨﱠﻟا عِ ﺬْﺠِ ﺑِ ﻚِ ﻴْﻟَإِ يﺰﱢ هُ وَ ﷲا لﺎﻗ ﺐﻃﺮﻟا ﻦﻣ ﻞﻀﻓأ ﻪﺑ أﺪﺒﺗ ﻻ و ﺎﺌﻴﺷ ﻞﻣﺎﺤﻟا ﻞآﺄﺗ ﺎﻣ ﺎﻴًّﻨِﺟَ ﺎًﺒﻃَ رُ The best food for an expecting (lady) is ripe dates. Allah says: “If you shake the trunk of the palm tree, it will provide you with fresh ripe dates.” ﻦﻴﺴﺤﻟا و ﻦﺴﺤﻟﺎﺑ ص ﷲا لﻮﺳر ﻞﻌﻓ اﺬﻜﻬﻓ ﺮﻤﺘﻟﺎﺑ ﻢآدﻻوأ اﻮﻜﻨﺣ Using dates gives strength to your babies, because the Prophetsaww fed this to Al-Hassanasws and Al-Hussainasws. 400 Golden Rules 8 out 54 www.hubeali.com نﺎﻄﻴﺸﻟا ساﻮﺳﻮﺑ ﺐهﺬﻳ و ﺐﻠﻘﻠﻟ ةﺎﻴﺣ و ةﺪﻌﻤﻠﻟ غﺎﺑد ﻪﻧﺈﻓ ﻪﻤﺤﺸﺑ نﺎﻣﺮﻟا اﻮﻠآ Eat pomegranate with its inner tissues. This will strengthen the stomach, refresh the heart, and save from the Iblis’s devious inspirations. Etiquettes of Married Life ﻪﻨﻣ نﻮﻜﻳ يﺬﻟا ﻞﺜﻣ ﺎﻬﻨﻣ ﻦﻜﻳ ﺚﻜﻤﻴﻟ و ﺎﻬﻨﻠﺟﺎﻌﻳ ﻼﻓ ﻪﻠهأ ﻲﺗﺄﻳ نأ ﻢآﺪﺣأ دارأ اذإ Before you try to copulate with your wife, you should wait until she attains the same desire that you have. و ﻼﻴﺒﺳ ﻪﺒﻠﻗ ﻰﻠﻋ نﺎﻄﻴﺸﻠﻟ ﻞﻌﺠﻳ ﻻ و ىأر يﺬﻟا ﻞﺜﻣ ﺎهﺪﻨﻋ نﺈﻓ ﻪﻠهأ ﻖﻠﻴﻠﻓ ﻪﺒﺠﻌﺗ ةأﺮﻣا ﻢآﺪﺣأ ىأر اذإ اﺮﻴﺜآ ﷲا ﺪﻤﺤﻳ و ﻦﻴﺘﻌآر ﻞﺼﻴﻠﻓ ﺔﺟوز ﻪﻟ ﻦﻜﺗ ﻢﻟ نﺈﻓ ﺎﻬﻨﻋ ﻩﺮﺼﺑ فﺮﺼﻴﻟ If your eyes fall on a charming woman, you should come to your lady and copulate with her, because all women have the same. You should also avoid allowing the Shaitan to control you in any way. Finally, turn your sight away from charming women.
