Berlin 212113020-543210 -Printed on acid-free paper FTeface This volume contains papers given at the recent 15th Congress of the European Society of Neuroradiology, Wurzburg. The book consists of four main parts. The first three deal with new methods for imaging of brain metabolism (PET and MR spectroscopy), the spine and spinal cord, and interventional neuroradiology, while the fourth includes contributions on various topics including multiple sclerosis, AIDS, and the hypophysis. Where manuscripts for papers given at the Congress were not available, short summaries based on abstracts submitted before the conference have been included. We are very much obliged to Schering (Berlin) for their cooperation and for supporting this book. We also thank Springer-Verlag, especial ly B. Lewerich and M. Botsch, for the competent preparation and good design of this volume. M.
