Description:Weve received enough letters concerning our camouflage colour section to warrant some discussion. First, please understand that British warship camouflage is an extremely complex, albeit interesting, subject. Over twenty different colours, issued in several distinct series, were used during WWII. There were but three major of¬ficial documents issued during the entire war covering their use, and actual variations from, and permutations on, the official were endless. Some ships changed their pattern several times in one year, others went through the entire war in substantially the same scheme.
