Wereceivedmorethan20fullpapersubmissions,mostofwhichprovidedinterest- ing and valuable new insights related to human brain and artificial intelligence. Each submissionwassingle-blindlyreviewedbyatleastthreereviewers.Afterpeerreview, HBAI2022featured19contributionsthatwerecarefullyselectedfromallsubmissions. Thedifferenttopicsoftheacceptedpaperswerepresentedanddiscussedataone-day seminar.Toaidthediscussionofthoseinterestinginsightstheseminarwasdividedinto four sessions covering topics such as AI for brain-related data analysis, AI and brain interfaces,andbrain-relatedresearch. HBAI2022representedadiligenteffortfromresearchersintheareaofthehuman brain and AI. We are very grateful to the 104 authors that submitted their papers and to the 23 members of the Program Committee (PC), who invited reviewers, produced reviews, and participated in the decision-making process.
