These are supplemented by numerous black white archive photos, illustrations and diagrams (such as factory drawings and detail views), particularly where colour references are difficult to obtain.Much effort is devoted to illustrating specific areas of a given aircraft, e.g. the cockpit, engine, armament etc. The large number of photographs included means that many are reproduced to a fairly small size. In addition to the close-up photos, there are 1/72 scale 3-view line drawings and colour profiles.
