A RESOLUTION
1 Commending Kristie Heath, Clayton County Public Schools' 2019 Certified Support Leader
2 of the Year; and for other purposes.
3 WHEREAS, a proper quality education for the young people of this state is the single most
4 important objective of the General Assembly; and
5 WHEREAS, a 30 year veteran of Clayton County Public Schools, Kristie Heath has long
6 been recognized by the citizens of this state for the vital role that she has played in the
7 teaching profession and her deep personal commitment to the education of the students of
8 Georgia; and
9 WHEREAS, Kristie Heath has earned distinction and numerous awards for teaching
10 excellence and has been honored as Clayton County Public Schools' 2019 Certified Support
11 Leader of the Year; and
12 WHEREAS, in recognition of her contributions to the education and welfare of young people
13 in this state, it is abundantly fitting and proper for this body to honor the extraordinary
14 accomplishments and academic achievements of this outstanding educator.
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that
16 the members of this body commend Kristie Heath, Clayton County Public Schools' 2019
17 Certified Support Leader of the Year, and express their most sincere best wishes for
18 continued success.
19 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
20 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to
21 Kristie Heath.
