It’s still been taken for granted. It is one of the primary things needed for you to start making money online. It is the greatest asset you can have online. Even if your websites, app crash, with it you can bounce back immediately What is this thing am emphasizing on? It’s simple, LIST You must have heard of this saying: "The Money is in the LIST" LIST BUILDING and EMAIL MARKETING- You need both to succeed. You need to build your list and you need email marketing to keep, interact with your list. It's a one-to-many interaction that allows you to enrich people's lives both professionally and personally. The first step to building an online business with email is to actually build an email list. An email list consists of people who have given you their permission (typically by opting in for a free gift or an offer) to receive emails. The mistake most marketer and blogger make is send traffic directly to their sales page or blog. This is a HUGE MISTAKE! If you rely on visitors clicking through to your sales page for every offer. There is risk of losing most of the traffic. Every click cost money even those that have visited your page or blog before free. When sending traffic directly to your sales page, your sales page will only convert at 4% if it is really good but 96% of traffic is lost, by people who don’t buy or click through. However, when driving traffic to an OPTIN PAGE, where they can give their email address, conversions can be as high as 70%. Now, instead of losing 96% visitors, 70% of them convert and are willing to receive email again and again. It is like: Free Traffic on Demand. You have total control over your list and business. With an email List you have the ability to market over and over again to your list with no extra cost, at no risk of losing your List. Once you have visitor’s email address, it means NEVER having to pay for their clicks again when driving traffic. Once your customers opt in. It provides the opportunity to market to them for the rest of their life without EVER having to pay a penny more. If you want to make a lot of money online, building your mailing list can be one of the best decisions you will ever make. 7 "WHYs" you NEED to Build Your List #1: Having a mailing list of subscribers means YOU control the traffic. When you have a mailing list you can get FREE traffic just by sending out an email! Which mean YOU control the TRAFFIC! Traffic is the lifeblood of any Internet business. Essentially, in the 21st century business, traffic = money. When you pay nothing, zero, zilch… and make $1,000 in profit, just from sending out an email… Well, this is quite simply an incredibly lucrative business model. #2: Having a mailing list means you benefit from MASS LEVERAGE! Think about this for a second. If you have 10,000 subscribers on your mailing list, it means that you can communicate directly with 10,000 prospects anytime you want, at zero cost! Think about the power of that! It is almost like having access to the earning power – or wallets – of 10,000 people. With such incredible leverage can come incredible profits! #3: Having a mailing list means you can make money from ANYWHERE in the world! Make MONEY ON DEMAND! I believe that having a List is KEY to Escaping the Rat Race and Achieving Financial Independence. And best of all, you can work from home, and indeed from anywhere around the world! I can open up my laptop, connect to the Internet, send out an email to my list with a great offer, and make thousands of dollars! Having a list means that you can make money from ANYWHERE in the world. As an internet marketer, you should be making on average $1 per subscriber per month. This means that having 1,000 subscribers = $1,000 a month on average, 5,000 subscribers = $5,000 a month on average, 10,000 subscribers = $10,000 a month on average, and so on. This means you can give yourself a monthly PAYRISE… simply by growing your list! You want to make an extra $1,000 this month? Great! Simply get another 1,000 subscribers! This is why List Building allows you to grow your Business FAST! The faster you grow your list (i.e. generate leads for your business), the faster you grow your business! John Alanis, said: “For every 1,000 customers you have (someone that gives you $300 or more), you can make $1,000,000 a year in sales to them.” I absolutely agree to it. The Money Is In The List! #5: The majority of the profit in any business is in the BACK END! Because if you don’t have a mailing list… you will not be able to generate repeated business from existing customers! And – as cliché as this may sound – it truly is 7 times easier to sell to an existing customer, than try to get a new customer. And furthermore, you can better inform your prospects and clients about the VALUE of your offers, solutions, products, and services! (it takes 7 exposures to a message, on average, before a prospect takes action! ) By having your prospects and clients on your mailing list, you don’t just get ‘one bite of the cherry’, but instead you get the opportunity to sell to them over and over again, and propose better and better solutions! #6: Relationship Having a mailing list is vital, because by staying in touch with your clients and prospects, you show that you care. That’s right! People need to feel significant, important, and they need to feel that you care! They did a study in the USA many years ago, that showed that the #1 reason why people stopped using a business’s services or stopped frequenting an establishment was… PERCEIVED INDIFFERENCE! 8 | Pa ge COPYWRITE © DAVID CHINAZA www.digitalmarketingguide.info One of the single biggest killers of revenue is "perceived indifference", meaning a customer's perception that a business doesn't care about them or their business. Stay in touch with your prospects and clients, send them emails twice a week, send them a letter or newsletter every month, send them a catalogue every quarter… Stay in touch regularly! It has been proven that consistency in contact with your clients/prospects generates TRUST (rapport, builds the relationship) which ultimately means much more SALES! #7: TRAFFIC You earn a lot more per click if your traffic is from your subscribers (people who know you, like you, and trust you) than if it is from ‘cold’ traffic. Matt Bacak has calculated that he earns $0.70 per click he generates from sending emails out to his subscribers. "I know from our own stats that we only earn $0.14 per click from Twitter, for example (‘cold’ traffic – people that we don’t have a relationship with yet)". You will make 5 TIMES MORE MONEY from traffic from your mailing list than from other sources. PLUS you can get this traffic over and over again, whereas other traffic sources you would need to keep spending money (or time) to get it. 9 | Pa ge COPYWRITE © DAVID CHINAZA www.digitalmarketingguide.info 3 BASIC SIMPLE PROCESSES IN MAKING SALES Apart from coaching, consultancy and other systems i set up that generates income for me, and to keep the company running. I sell digital products. After getting my products ready for sale, first I post or run advert promising a related FREE gift to prospects to get their contact, after then, I start sending follow up messages to them and 90% of my list ended up buying my products within a month. ** Digital products include, videos, eBooks, softwares etc. Something that is not physical or tangible The 3 basic process in making sales after you have your product ready are as follows: 1. Traffic 2. Leads Collection (Emails) 3. Follow-up messages (to build relationship and make sales) Here is it again….. In order to drive traffic to my squeeze page (where I collect the leads), I made a post where I offered a related FREE gift in exchange for my prospects email address and phone number.
