It introduces teachers to entre­ preneurial thinking,explainstheb enefits of this approach to teaching practice, and outlines how this way of thinking can influence and promote innovation and change across a school. The final chapters present case studies of entrepreneurial teaching in practice, sharing the experiences of both new and established teachers who have adopted this approach. This book will inspire and empower teachers to enact change for the benefit of their students and is essential reading for teachers and school leaders at all stages of their career. James P. Davis is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Teacher Education and Leadership at the Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, Australia. Davis is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Teacher Education and Leadership at the Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, Australia. He is an entrepreneurial academic with publications across health sciences, science education, and entrepreneurial education, and industry experiences across defence, health, education, and business. He currently serves as a Non-Executive Director of Kairos Community College, a highly innovative, independent special assistance school for students in grades 10–12 that promotes student and teacher autonomy. James’s research reflects socio-cultural-emotive perspectives in teaching and learning where he establishes connectivity across STEM and entrepre­ neurial education. He is a contributing author to the Springer volume Exploring Emotions, Aesthetics and Wellbeing in Science Education Research, the Routledge volume Emotions in Late Modernity, and the Edward Elgar volume How to Become an Entrepreneurship Educator. James is also an Associate Editor for the international journal Research in Science Education. Over the past five years James has also developed a MOOC, Teaching Entre­ preneurial Thinking, reaching more than 13,500 learners across 142 countries. At QUT he has taught entrepreneurial thinking and leadership to more than 3,600 preservice teachers across early childhood, primary, and secondary years.
