CHAPTER | Essential Blues Tools Solid Body Electric Guitar ‘The solid body electric isthe standard electric guitar that's great for distartion sounds and lead playing, Pickups mounted on the guitar's body send the sound to an amplifier. If nere are two (or mora) pickups, a pickup selector switch ((oggle swvtch is used io select ono or blend them together.
