I poked Teddy in the shoulder, grinning. "Go get his baby bag before they change their minds." Teddy took a couple of steps, but then he seemed to remember something. He wrapped me up in his arms and gazed at me with an intensity I'd never seen from him. It cut right to the heart of me.
