Description:The “Lexicon of Early Greek Epic” is now complete after half a century of philological work. It offers a host of information concerning the entire range of Early Greek vocabulary, as used by Homer, Hesiod, the Homeric Hymns, and the so-called “small epics.” The first entry was made in 1955; the last in 2010. This volume, which marks the conclusion of this large project, also discusses the future of research in this subfield.
