material already covered by the late assistant church hhiissttoorriilaaannn andrew jenson spent thirty of his ninety mortal years gathering arranging who and compiling historical material pertaining to tthhe restored church ttthhhieisssiiisss especially true of material pertaining to the scandinavian mission his history of the ssccaannddddoiiinnnnaaaaeavvvvvviiilliaaaaaannnnnn mission however is cited mited lliitmited to a chronology covering the period from 1188550011992277 others 131 have written short accounts of certain phases of mormonism in denmark but a general history of the church in ddeenmmaarrkk has never been written 1 inasmuch as the danish saints make up a significant part writtenhhiissttoorryy of the church a written of the church wwaooouuua1lddd not be complete without including the history of the church in Dddeeennnunmmarrkk marize the purpose of this work is to ssuummarize the history of the danish mission from its beginning in 1850 to 1963 and to give an account of the proselyting activities of the missionaries and the effects of their message on the growth and development of the mission and the church as a whole all careful study of available material was made known A ithe jesus the term saints refers to members of the church of latterday it christ of lleatttteerr day saints because is hoped that by following the principles taught by the church they
