FILIPINO IMMIGRATION TO HAWAII, 115TH ANNIVERSARY, 1906-2021 (March 2021) A 6- included a copper cent, US Nickel, US Dime, Hawaii Volcanoes National Park Quarter, Philippines 10 Sentimo Aluminum and Philippines 50 Sentimo Copper Nickel coin. Forty five (45) numbered sets were produced. Also produced were ten (10) denominational sets consisting of: Copper Cent, US Nickel, US Dime, Hawaii Volcanoes National Park Quarter, US Presidential Golden Dollar, Philippines 10 Sentimo Aluminum (rolled and unrolled), Philippines 50 Sentimo Copper Nickel and Philippines 1 Peso Copper Nickel (rolled and unrolled). HAWAII TRANSPORTATION, SERIES V (March 2021) Etched and rolled by Cindy Series V features Hawaii Transportation Pioneers Amelia Earhart, First Transpacific Solo Flight Ellison S. Onizuka, Shuttle Discovery STS-51-C In October 2021, I worked with Edward L. Craig on a special elongated Golden Dollar featuring the Ellison S. Onizuka design from Hawaii Transportation Series V. The Onizuka design was rolled on the 2020 Hubble Telescope Innovation Dollar. A limited edition of 25 golden dollars were rolled by Cindy Calhoun and distributed by Ed Craig with a numbered brochure. The Hubble Telescope image appears on the reverse side of the elongated dollar coin. TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE INAUGURAL VOYAGE TO TAHITI, 1976-2021 (May 2021) Re-roll of the 2011 35th Rolled by Paul Conner Studios. GO FOR BROKE 2-COIN CENT SET SERIES I (May 2021) -Coin set included a copper cent One Hundred numbered sets were produced and sold as a fun of the Go For Broke movies, scheduled for release in 2022. Sets incluced 4x6 photos of the GFB Logo and GFB Movie poster and a numbered Kraft envelope. All coins were etched and rolled by Cindy Calhoun Also produced fifteen (15) 5-coin denominational sets consisting of a copper cent, US nickel, US Dime, Hawaii Volcanoes National Park Quarter and a US Golden Dollar. GO FOR BROKE PNC Philatelic Numismatic Cover (June 2021) USPS First Day Covers for the Go For Broke Japanese American Soldiers of WWII postage stamp, released on June 3, 2021, were converted to PCNs by Vicky Bowser and Michael Mochizuki by adding the Go For Broke elongated copper cent (Series I). Fifty (50) two-cover sets were produced, consisting of one Digital Color cancellation and one Standard cancellation. were converted to PCNs by Vicky Bowser. Series IX features: Waikiki Shell, Waikiki Kamehameha V Post Office, Downtown Honolulu HAWAII IMMIGRATION (July 2021) Features groups who emigrated to Hawaii at the turn of the century. Chinese Immigration, 1789, Gateway Statues in Downtown Honolulu Chinatown District Japanese Immigration, 1868, Statue of Sugar Cane workers on Maui, Hawaii Portuguese Immigration, 1878, S.S. Priscilla ship Puerto Rican Immigration, 1900, Memorial Rock, Puakea, Hawaii Island Regular sets rolled on copper cents. Special Limited Edition rolled on foreign coins matching the country of the design. Chinese Immigration rolled on Taiwan 1-Yuan Bronze, Japanese immigration rolled on Japan 10-Yen Bronze, Portuguese Immigration rolled on Portugal 5- Escudo Brass, Puerto Rico Immigration rolled on U.S. Puerto Rico Territorial Quarter. Limited Edition of 25 sets rolled, included a numbered information card and one unrolled foreign coin from each of the countries. Fifteen extra Puerto Rico Territorial Quarters were rolled and distributed as individual coins. S.S. ELLISON ONIZUKA LAMINATED CARD WITH ELONGATED COIN (August 2021) This laminated card includes the Ellilson Onizuka Statues elongated copper cent from the Hawaii Statues Series IV set and commemorates the August 10, 2021 launch of the Northrop Grumman NG-16 Cygnus spacecraft from Wallop Launch Facility, Virginia. The Cygnus spacecrafts are used to re-supply the International Space Station, and each mission is named after a notable space pioneer, mostly US astronauts. Twenty numbered and laminated cards were produced for this project, each postmarked at the Wallops Island, VA post office. The numbered laminated card also includes a separate information card with data, information and photos of the mission. In addition four PCNs were produced for this project. GO FOR BROKE COLLECTIBLE POKER CHIP SET (August 2021) character on one side, and the GFB Series I logo on the reverse side. Anti-tank group with flags, Black bordered chip. TH-442ND- One Hundred (100) sets were produced as a fundraiser for the next Go For Broke episode by Stacey Hayashi. Also produced wa collectible poker chip for Stacey Hayashi with her Chibi image on the front (with USPS GFB postage stamp) and the Go for Broke ALOHA logo on the reverse. One Hundred (100) chips were produced with light brown borders. MICHAEL MOCHIZUKI BUSINESS CARD POKER CHIP (August 2021) In August 2021, a limited edition Collectible Poker Chip featuring my elongated copper business card design on the front was produced. Red borders, featured an ALOHA photo with hula girls on the reverse. One hundred chips were produced. Store card design rolled on a Brass Amusement Token. 50 tokens rolled by Cindy Calhoun of card amusement token series. Carnival Carnival operated two Manoa, Honolulu. USS DANIEL INOUYE DDG 118 DESIGNS RE-ROLLED ON 2021 ZINC CENTS FOR USS DANIEL INOUYE COMMISSIONING PROJECT (September 2021) Two designs (ships profile and ships crest) from the original USS Daniel Inouye DDG 118 series were re-rolled on 2021-dated zinc cents for the commissioning ceremony laminated card sets. One hundred 2021 zinc coin were rolled for this project; 50 ships profile and 50 ships crest. Twenty laminated cards were made with each of the re-rolled designs. The laminated cards were postmarked on 09/02/2021 at the Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, HI Post Office 96860. The remaining sets were offered for sale with information cards and Kraft envelopes. This set consists of 4 elongated cents, rolled on a copper cent, a 1943 Steel Cent and 1944 and 1945 shell case cents (wartime copper composition). Set included a numbered information card. MELE KALIKIMAKA 2021 (October 2021) Twelfth Christmas design in a series features a script Mele Kalikimaka font with two Hibiscus flowers, bordered by a bamboo design. A limited edition Collectible Chip with the Mele Kalikimaka 2021 elongated graphic was produced for Holiday 2021. color.One Hundred chips were produced and distributed free with each MK order of $25 or more, while supplies lasted. HAUOLI MAKAHIKI HOU 2022 (October 2021) Features Fireworks over the Rainbow Tower of Hilton Hawaiian Village Hotel. Etched and rolled by Cindy Calhoun. A limited edition Collectible Poker Chip with the Hauoli Makahiki Hou 2022 elongated graphic was produced for Holiday 2021. One Hundred chips were produced and distributed free with each Hauoli order of $25 or more, while supplies lasted. Two color chips were produced, 50 orange border and 50 purple border. PEARL HARBOR / USS ARIZONA 80th ANNIVERSARY, 1941 2021 (October/November 2021) Single design featuring the USS Arizona Memorial with 80th Anniversary notation. Set consists of8-coins,including Copper Cent, 1941 Cent, 1941 Nickel, US Dime, Hawaii State Quarter, Japanese 1- Etched and rolled by Cindy Calhoun. Seventy-five sets were produced and included a numbered information card. In addition, 80th Anniversary Collectible Poker Chip (blue border) was included with the elongated coin set. This is collectible chip Series III. This chip featured the 80th anniversary elongated coin graphic on the front and a night view of the USS Arizona and USS Missouri Memorials on the reverse. Separate 80th Anniversary Collectible chips were also released at the same time, and offered as an individual collectible chip. An orange bordered chip featured an 80th Arizona Memorial. One Hundred chips were produced (Series I). Two colors were produced for the Series II collectible chip, Fifty were produced in Red and 50 in Blue, featuring a photo of the USS Arizona Memorial / USS Missouri Memorial with an overlay of the US Flag on the front, and a stylized 80th Anniversary logo on the reverse.
