While HIO is not a Part 139 certified airport, the Port decided to address the wildlife hazard issues at HIO using the same Part 139 compliant model developed at PDX. The HIO WHMP will be reviewed on a periodic basis to determine the effectiveness of the program. Appropriate changes will be made as the need arises.
