No. CHD/0093/2015–2017 Haryana Government Gazette Published by Authority © Government of Haryana No. 4-2017] CHANDIGARH, TUESDAY, JANUARY 24, 2017 (MAGHA 4, 1938 SAKA) PART—I Notifications, Orders and Declarations by Haryana Government HARYANA GOVERNMENT CHIEF SECRETARY’S OFFICE GENERAL ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT (PROTOCOL BRANCH) Notification The 10th January, 2017 No. 16/01/2017-4Pro.— The Governor of Haryana is pleased to reconstitute the Haryana Swatantrata Sainani Samman Samiti with its headquarters at Chandigarh with immediate effect. 2. The Governor of Haryana is further pleased to appoint Shri Lalti Ram S/o Shri Jai Lal, Freedom Fighter, Village Dubaldhan Bidhyan, Tehsil Beri, District Jhajjar as Chairman, Haryana Swatantrata Sainani Samman Samiti with immediate effect. 3. The terms and conditions of his appointment will be issued later on. 4. The functions of the aforesaid Samiti are be as under:- “To scrutinize and help in the preparation of cases of freedom fighters/INA Personnel to be sent to the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India for the grant of pension under their Swatantarta Sainani Samman Samiti Pension Scheme-1980 and under the scheme of Haryana State for grant of Haryana Swatantrata Sainani samman Pension to freedom fighters/INA Personnel, who underwent imprisonment in freedom struggle of the Country for two or more than two months but below six months, transfer of Haryana Swatantrata Sainani Samman Pension to their widows/unmarried unemployed daughters & unmarried/unemployed sons having 75% disability after the death of the freedom fighter/INA Personnel and recommendation of all financial Assistance cases admissible to the freedom fighters/INA Personnel and their dependents. 5.
