No, consultation with the Haryana Public Service Commission,. the
Governor of Haryana is pleased to preScribe the ,following_ qualifications, age, method of recruitment
Sc. for filling up the post of Forest Statistician Class -II in the Piy Scale of Rs. 2,000-3,500 in the
Forest Department with immediate effect as under:
(a) For Direct Recruitment: Essential qualifications:
(I) Master's degree in Statistics or in Fronornies/Commerce/Mathematics with statistics as
one Jf the papers therein from a recognised University/Institute.
OR
Degree with Statistics or Economic/Commerce/Mathematics as one of the subjects from
a recognised Diploma obtained after at lust tWo year's post Graduates Training in
Statistics.
(it) Three years experience of Statistical werleinvolving collection, compilation and inter-
pretation of Statistical data *after attainment of basic qualifications.
Desirable: Knowledge of customs manners and dialects of Haryana.
(iii) Knowledge of Hindi uplo Matric 'standard.
(h.) Age: Between 21 to 35 years as on last date for submission of application to the
Commission.
(b) By Promotion:
(i) Degree or its equivalent with economics, mathematics, statistics and Crmmerce Or
one of tilt': subjects in graduation.
tii) 5 years experience as Technical Assistant.
(c) By,deputatIon: Officers holding equivalent post in the department of Economics and
Statistics under the Government of Haryana.
2. The post will be filled up at the ratio of 50/50 (percent) between the methods of
Directs recruitment and by promotion. .
