Reliable remediation with respect to liquefaction is necessary in geotechnical engineering practice. This book presents methodologies for assessment of liquefaction potential and remedial measures to mitigate liquefaction for reclaimed land. These methodologies are based on continuous research and decades of experience in design and construction of port facilities in Japan, where liquefaction often poses a serious problem in design and construction.
