Accessibility often refers to the quality of being easily reached, entered or used by people who have a disability. This section includes information on agencies that can help with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements. What is Assistive Technology? Assistive Technology includes anything that can be used to assist, be adapted or rehabilitation items used to help those with disabilities. For example: Wheelchairs, walkers, adaptive utensils, screen enlargers, hearing aids, cognitive computers/electronics, assistive devices etc. In this section, you will be able to find companies that sell or modify these items.
