Thisteacherdedicated his lifetomakingWestwood High School a betterplace. Hefilledthe hallswith his smilingface, fromthe crackofdawn, well intothe night, for43 longyears. He started outasa math and English teacherduhng the school'sfirstyearin this building. 1957. He sawthe building throughtwoadditions. During hisyears of service, heworked as ateacher, math department head, acoach ofbasketball, advisorofthe math team, managerofathletics. Driver's Ed teacher, Northeastern UniversityAdvisor, and Assistant Principle. After43 long yearsofworkand dedication, he retiredthisyear. Yetdespite his manyaccomplishments, hisabsence from Westwood High School is mostlyfelt bythethousandsofstudents andteachers he hastaughtand affected. Hetouchedthe livesof manypeople, as ateacher, asacoach, andasafriend. He is perhapsoneofthe mostwell known members oftheWHSfaculty.
