Partofthatisto offeryou theflexibilityto takeoneclass ata timeormany, and toscheduleyourclassesaroundtheotherdemandsinyourlife. Youknowfromyourownexperiencethatitwouldbeimpossibletolearnallthenewmaterial thatemergeseven in asinglefieldin anygivenyear. In thepastfewdecadeswehaveevolved from an educational system that taught facts by rote, to one that teaches how to learn, becausethefactsbecomeoutdatedso quickly. Buttheimportantthingistokeeplearning wehopethatyourMereditheducationalexperienceencouragesyoutokeeplearning. There is a Chinese proverb that says, "Learning which does not advance each daywill daily decrease." Ifwe don't continue to learn throughout our lives, we will indeed find ourselves backsliding. Your decision to come to graduate school at Meredith will give you a boost in — this learning process.
