Theprojectsrecommendedaspartofthe2006-2007ExecutiveBudgetrepresenta determinedefforttohalttheincrease,andprovideaminimalrollback,inthebacklogofmajor repairsandmaintenanceprojectswithinState-ownedfacilitiesandcampuses. Ofthe$115millioninprojectrequestsforGeneralFunddollars,thisLRBPProposal recommends$35,128,040formajorrepairs,maintenance,replacementandrenovationprojects. Theseprojectseitherdirectlyaddressfacilityrepairs,renovations,anddeficienciesorcompletely replacedeterioratedcomponentsorbuildings. NoGeneralFund-bondedbuildingprogramis proposed. Atransferof$30millioninone-timefundsfromtheGeneralFundtotheLongRangeBuilding Fundhasbeenincludedinmybudgettoaddresstheseworthwhileandnecessaryprojects.
