A note from the Gnerer’s about the Reference Sires VDAR Winston 2165 Winston was the second highest selling bull at the 2016 VDAR Bull Sale. A complete and long bodied Churchill 1063 son out of DFA Hero 6017. His females are perfectly propor- tionate and straight backed. With a CED of +16, he is a rock star calving ease sire with muscle to back it up. We mainly used Winston on our heifers and every calf was born unas- sisted! What a uniform and excellent calf crop he produced! Excited to watch his progeny grow. VDAR Cedar Wind 8111 Cedar Wind 8111 has it ALL; calving ease, docility, and growth. He produces nice, big bulls and super quiet, easy fleshing females. We have used him for a few years now and we continue to be impressed with his progeny and their per- formance. A favorite sire who will be used again in our herd because he always delivers super nice calves. Quaker Hill Rampage 0A36 Rampage is a heavy muscled, powerful Daybreak son - as you can see from his picture. He offers incredible growth and performance in one package. He is backed by one of the most impressive and infamous cow herds in the Angus breed- “The Quaker Hill Black Caps”. His bull calves stand out in our 2018 crop - they are NICE! VDAR Clarence 2285 Clarence, who got his name from Clarence Van Dyke, is sired by Ginger Hill Treasure 233 and his MGS is VDAR Cedar Wind 8111. His calves are big bodied and super long with lots of volume. His females are uniform, fleshy and very beautiful. A note from the Gnerer’s about the Reference Sires Capitalist 5320 & Capitalist 5364 We kept two Capitalist sons, Capitalist 5320 and Capitalist 5364, the two top Bulls from our 2015 Capitalist crop. They sired some well made calves! Capitalist 5320 is a big, beautiful, BEEFY guy. We aren’t sure if we are more impressed with him or his momma! His dam, 320, is sired by Sitz Upside 547W. She bred up on her first cycle as a heifer calf and as a first time heifer weaned off her first calf, Capitalist 5320, at 803 pounds and had a ratio of 120!!! Her second year she bred right back and as a second year calver she weaned a 792 pound calf! Her first three calves averaged a 116 ratio. She is scheduled to be our first calver in 2018 and she is amazing! She is one of our “happy” cows that is always in your back pocket! Capitalist 5364 is a extra deep and growthy guy. His dam is out of Really Windy 4097 and she is a beautiful, deep bodied, fleshy female with perfect udders. He was the friendliest guy of our whole 2015 calf crop - his disposition was unmatched. His sons will produce some super quiet, excellent females for you! Gnerer Really Windy 3601 A super deep and complete Really Windy 4097 son. 3601 calves topped sales at our 2015 Bull Sale. He is a curve bender who combines calving ease and growth. His females are super sweet and some of our favorite mommas on the ranch, always weaning big calves. We like 3601 so much that we drew semen so we could breed more cows to him and see how he mea- sured up to our AI sired calves. We are completely happy with Really Windy 4097 him and the results. He is GREAT all around! KM Broken Bow 002 This exciting new sire from the KM Cattle Company is a powerful Complete son. He is moderate, heavy muscled, along with high accuracy calving ease. He was ABS #1 sell- er in 2017 and ranks in the top 10% for Total Profit Index through the Sire Alliance program. A note from the Gnerer’s about the Reference Sires VDAR Black Cedar 8380 Black Cedar will add some thickness to your calves! His calves are super sleek, black and have perfect feet. They also have big, meaty hind ends. A very complete Cole Creek Black Cedar 46P son. VAR Generation 2100 2100 is #1 for WW, YW, and $W of the Connealy Consensus 7229 sons. He is an extremely long bodied and phenotypically attractive sire. A great outcross for Ten X daughters. His Dam is rewriting breed history - in 5 years she passed $3 million in progeny sales at Vintage Angus Ranch. A very hot sire in the industry. VDAR Four Corners 8232 Four Corners is a moderate framed bull that will add thickness to your cows. We continue to use him because he produces ex- cellent daughters and the bull calves just speak for themselves. They have good feet and look good on all four corners!
