GE’s award-winning new oven allows families to prepare oven-quality food in
an average of one-fourth the time it takes in a conventional oven. But can you
count on the amazing “cooking with light” technology day after day? GE ran
the product for 63,000 lamp hours without failure. For good measure, we hit
the start button 300,000 times, turned the meal selection dial 110,000 times
and slammed the door 100,000 times. Put another way, we simulated 10 years
