ADDENDA
No. Waqf/28/37/2013—The Haryana /Waqf Board filed a civil suit in the Civil Court at Sirsa titled as HWB V/s
Dera Sacha Sauda through its Head Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh & others vide permission order No.
49/Legal/11699/08/13/12300-03, dated 30.06.2013. The defendants agreed to give land of equal cost outside the said Dera
and agreed to exchange with Waqf land at Sirsa.

Therefore, the parties from both sides had recorded their compromise statements in the court. In view of the written
compromise statements the Hon’ble Court of Civil Judge (Jr. Division), Sirsa accordingly passed award on 29.08.2013. This
process was completed before the enactment of the Wakf (Amendment) Act, 2013.
Therefore, the waqf land in the name of Masjid was notified as waqf property in the Gazette of India, Part-III,
Section 4, dated 17.10.1970, at Sr. No. 1156, Page No. 1600 may be read as under :—
