(I) These rules may be called the National Savings Or- gaisations (Group 'C' and Group 'D' Posts) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 1996. (2) They shall came in to force on the date of their pub- lication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the National Savings Organisations (Group 'C' and Group 'D' Posts) Recruitment Rules, l978, in Schedule 11- against serial number 2, relating to the post of District Savings Officer : — (a) in column 3, for the figures "533", the figures "270" shall be substituted; (b) in column 7, for the existing entries, the following entries shall be substituted, namely :— "Between 22-27 years (Relaxable for Government Ser- vants upto 40 years for general candidates and 45 years in the case of Scheduled Castes and Sche- duled Tribes candidates)"; (c) in column 11, for the existing entries, the following entries shall be substituted, namely :— "30 percent by promotion and 70 percent by direct recruitment failing which by deputation and failing both by transfer." Short title and commencement : (1) These rules may bo called the Department of Statistics Group 'C' (Staff Car Driver) (Amendment) Rules, 1989. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publi- cation in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Schedule to the Department of Statistics Group 'C' (Staff Car Driver) Recruitment Rules, 1989, (a) In column 12 after the existing entry, the following shall be inserted namely :— "Persons holding analogous post in the Central Govern- ment/Public Sector Undertakings/Statutory/Autono- mous Bodies who possess valid driving licence for motor car with at least three years' experience and who fulfil the necessary qualifications as required under the Recruitment Rules."
