To begin, I would like to thank Colleen Coalter at Bloomsbury. She was enthusiastic about my idea for this book from the very moment I first contacted her about it. Becky Holland at Bloomsbury has helped all along the way with administrative tasks (including helping me to stay on schedule!). I’m grateful that Bloomsbury was willing to give a junior scholar like me the op- portunity to put together an edited collection. I also must thank all of the contributors to this collection: Mike Almeida, Travis Dumsday, Perry Hendricks, and Graham Oppy. Many of them are far more senior in the field than I am and yet were excited to contribute to the volume and work with me. I’m humbled to have been the editor for their work. Given the interactive nature of this volume it was quite important that the authors meet deadlines. Not only did all of the authors meet the deadlines, but they also responded quickly to my emails. This made my job as editor much easier than it would have been otherwise. Perry Hendricks deserves special credit for joining the project rather late but still meeting all of the deadlines. I would also like to thank Klaas Kraay. He sparked my initial interest in the axiology of theism and has been a constant source of encouragement. My parents, Stephenson and Diane, have always been supportive of my philosophical endeavors. I would not have gotten this far without them. This book is dedicated to one of my most important philosophical mentors, Phillip H. Wiebe. Sadly, he passed away in the fall of 2018 and did not live to see this book come to fruition.
