Sometimes called by its German name, "Augsflug, " the tradition of
Outfly began in 1916 as a student-initiated, one-day holiday. Today, the
date ofOutfly is determined by the President ofthe college and by the stu-
dent body president, but students still play a part by chanting:

Shouts of "Outfly! Outfly!" echoed rest of the morning in bed or catching up
