Reference #1442 by the City of Fort
Wayne, Indiana, by and through its
Department of Purchasing and KELLEY
CHEVROLET for the Animal Control
Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF FORT WAYNE, INDIANA;
SECTION 1. That Reference #1442 between the City of

KELLEY CHEVROLET for the Animal Control Department.
respectfully for:
the purchase of one (1) van type truck
for the Animal Control Department;
involving a total cost of Fourteen Thousand One Hundred
Thirty-Nine and 44/100 Dollars ($14,139.44), all as more
particularly set forth in said Reference #1442 which is on
file in the Office of the Department of Purchasing, and is
by reference incorporated herein, made a part hereof, and is
hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved.
SECTION 2. That this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and any and all
necessary approval by the Mayor.

good and sufficient surety for the faithful performance of such contract and for the prompt payment of labor and material furnished
in the prosecution thereof, or in the event of the failure of the Principal to enter such contract and give such bond or bonds, if the
Principal shall pay to the Obligee the difference not to exceed the penalty hereof between the amount specified in said bid and
such larger amount for which the Obligee may in good faith contract with another party to perform the work covered by said bid,
then this obligation shall be null and void, otherwise to remain in full force and effect.
