BILL NO. R-91-01-20 RESOLUTION NO. ( za 3-77 A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WAYNE, INDIANA CONGRATULATING JEROME F. HENRY, SR. ON HIS RETIREMENT AND ACKNOWLEDGING HIS PUBLIC SERVICE TO THIS COMMUNITY. WHEREAS, Jerome F. Henry, Sr. began his career in COCNoNoOWo rS social work 37 years ago, and has served as Executive Director of Catholic Social Services since 1968; and WHEREAS, Jerome Foi Henry, Sr. has received the Governor's award for "Outstanding Public Employee" for his work with the handicapped; and WHEREAS, Jerome F. Henry Sr. was recognized by the National Association of Social Worker's "Indiana Social Worker of the Year" award in 1969; and WHEREAS, Jerome F. Henry, Sr. received the "Allen County Foster Parent Salute to Outstanding Social Worker of the Year" in 1983, and in 1984 was acknowledged by the Allen County Bar Association "Liberty Bell" award; and WHEREAS, Jerome F. Henry, Sr. has served on over 20 professional community boards and organizations; and WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Fort Wayne, Indiana wishes to express its gratitude for the many years of social and public service work of Jerome F. Henry, Sr. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WAYNE, INDIANA PUBLICLY ACKNOWLEDGES THE TREMENDOUS PUBLIC SERVICE OF JEROME F. HENRY, SR.
